Detailed information/workflow about the image
With Mies, more has no limits when we talk about the conceptual process. However, the execution has to, in the most specific way, show it’s essence. That is why the essence of the Crown Hall had to be represented in lines and colors. The workflow started with opening the model on Rhinoceros and finding the horizontality and composition that Mies wanted. After framing, saving and editing the view, Illustrator comes in handy for the final details like lineweights and color. An image can never compare to physically experience the building. However, an image can play with how we perceive a building and show the real essence of it.
