Detailed information/workflow about the image

I wanted to work with the great hall of the FAUUSP project an utilize it for exposing modern architecture, while expressing the materiality and conveying the great space.
My process started exportinf the model and cleaning it in 3ds max, separating the geometry and fixing some issues with the different parts, tried to make it as simple as possible using large groups of geometry according to the materials to be used.
Worked on the composition first and then ligthing, trying to make use of the big opennings and the skylights to show on the hall.
My aim was to reach a fairly realistic approach and then aftwerwards decomposed it on photoshop to make a more conceptual final result. For the exposition i figured i would used the crown hall since Mies is one of my architecture heroes, i worked on the 3d, cleaned it, delete all the the details since it was gonna be converted in a scaled model, shrunked it to fit a 1:50 scale and built a base for it following the desing of the benches already in the hall.
On the final composition I decided to take away the detail from the peaople, so the architecture and MIES would stand out from the crowd.
