When Mies said "almost nothing" he also meant "almost everything". The open floorplan and glass allow the surroundings to ornament the building. The sky becomes the ceiling and the trees cast dynamic shadows. The building is a calculated symphony. Rhythm and composition are rationalized through geometry and structure. "God is in the details", look closer and you'll see more stories.
