LIGHTFRAMING

What fascinates me most about the FAU USP is the contrast between the rawness and the simplicity of the materials and the warm, pleasant atmosphere they create.
I wanted to capture the interplay of the characteristic lighting and the effect the large atrium creates in a single scene. My attention was to capture this incidence of light in a simple setting with a few staffage and depict it in a fairytale-like way.
I usually build scenes in Rhino and use V-ray to materialize and render the image. In the end, though, I put most of the work into post-processing with Photoshop.
