I chose to depict the FAU USP by João Batista Vilanova Artigas on a 1.7 aspect ratio frame, considering the atmosphere and the interesting surroundings it provided. I started by finding an optimal camera position in 3Ds Max, while trying to emphasize the form of the building by highlighting the top of the atrium. I then added the vegetation and some atmospheric effects and rendered with Corona. Finally, I added some complimentary effects and final touches through post-production in Photoshop. In terms of concept, my main concern was to create an intriguing ambience for the building to blend with the lush vegetation and to connect it to its natural environment.
