FAU USP: Spatial Continuity

The design of FAU USP encompasses the concept of spatial continuity. What can be observed is the shearing of each level and how they are placed at mid levels between each other. This is emphasized by the blue dotted line grid whereby the placement of floors are alternating on each side. This is done in combination with the main ramps of the building that connects each of these floors into a series, which gives the feeling of a single plane. Together with the use of skylights and the central atrium of space, even more attention is brought onto the ramps.
